Caroline Cook is a 20 year old white cis heterosexual woman and current undegraduate student at NYU that worked in fashion retail at the flagship store of J. Crew for 3 months during the summer. In her interview, Caroline discusses her lifelong love for J. Crew, how the hiring process went smoothly for her because of this, and a positive and passionate work environment. Caroline connects working at J. Crew, wearing the clothing for work, and selling the clothing to her own femininity and gender expression as a cis woman. Caroline also describes the strong sense of community she felt with her coworkers and managers and feeling overall very connected to the store.
